Hilary Rosen joined Lion Television in 2000 and has worked on a broad range of popular factual series, one off documentaries and pilots for a range of Broadcaster. Recent productions include two series of Mum’s On Strike, a factual entertainment format for ITV1. She is currently working on a new format for BBC1 called Whose Wedding Is It Anyway, fronted by the presenter Nick Knowles. In recent years she has worked on two series for Channel 4: The award winning Bad Behaviour, which focused on turning around extremely challenging children, and Going Straight, a highly ambitious documentary series where a group of ex-offenders were given the chance to put a life of crime behind them and given cash to run their own business. She has also worked for BBC Entertainment, producing the one off, Travels With My Unfit Mother following the Broadcaster, Ann Robinson and her daughter on their road trip across the USA. When she first joined Lion she worked on a range of factual output, from the BBC1 series To Catch a Thief to a revealing Channel 4 documentary More Unequal than Ever, fronted by the economist Andrew Dilnot. She has worked for Discovery Europe on Miracle Cures, a series examining new surgical techniques and the pioneering job-swap programmes Trading Places and Turning the Tables for BBC2. She also executive produced an obit show for Channel 4, RIP 2002 and DIY Disasters for ITV1. Before joining Lion Television, she worked for BBC News and Current Affairs where she launched a consumer education show, Just One Chance. For Panorama she covered the Gulf War in Washington, and worked on a number of high profile stories and investigations. She also spent a year working in the Middle East, producing for Newsnight and BBC News. Before leaving the BBC she series produced on Watchdog for BBC1.
