THE FOUR MINUTE MILE

Synopsis:
In May 1954, on a running track in Oxford, a young medical student, Roger Bannister ran his way into the record books forever and made history. It was a challenge that had tantalisingly eluded runners from across the world until Bannister came together with his pacemakers, Chris Chattaway and Chris Brasher on that day. This film tells the story of the events behind that extraordinary day and the race to run the four minute mile.
