TRIAL BY JURY

Synopsis:
A fictional court case is fought out by real barristers in a real court and in front of a real judge. The barristers are working from a brief just as they would in a real trial. The expert witnesses are all real professionals while the accused and the witnesses are played by actors. The jury is made up of 12 ordinary men and women. These three programmes follow the process in real time over five days as they debate the evidence and reach their verdict. Guilty or innocent?
