About Lion Scotland

Recently Lion Scotland has produced The Edwardian Family Album for BBC4; the second series of the military strategy show, Time Commanders, presented by Richard Hammond; Days That Shook The World for the BBC and The History Channel, recreating in forensic detail key moments of history; and Dickens In America with acclaimed actress Miriam Margoyles uncovering the fascinating story of Charles Dickens' 1842 voyage to the heart of the New World. Stepfamilies was a major series for BBC One in which Suzie Hayman, Britain's leading expert on this growing phenomenon, worked intensively with six families to bring harmony where there once was hell. We also specialise in a range of illuminating arts documentaries, including John Irving - My Life in Fiction; Mary Renault - Love and War in Ancient Greece; Searle's Progress; The Truth about Len Deighton; and The Wild Life of Gerald Durrell.

Saving the Twin Towers brings a radical vision for the future safety of skyscrapers to the acclaimed BBC science series, Horizon. The observational documentary series' York Minster and Indian School are both strong evidence of our commitment to high-quality, cost-effective production. We are also in production with a new prime-time history series for BBC Two, and are developing new projects in both fact-based drama and factual children's genres.
