CASTAWAY 2000
Synopsis:
The daily survival of 36 men, women and children castaway on the remote Hebridean island of Taransay. This social experiment explores the problems of a community working and living self-sufficiently, while coping with hundred mile an hour winds and stormy seas. It also highlights the key issues of living as an individual within a group - from romance and friendship, to homophobia and racism.
